Thank you. I'd like to include COLLEGE football as well.

Too bad Favre is the real story of that game. I hate his "I'm staying, no going, no staying..." but the guy can still play football.

On the college note, Huskers vs. Iowa State this weekend. Huskers are going to dominate.

Yeah, that was plain brutal. I was so close to putting in Pats defense on one of my fantasy leagues too. Instead I had the Ravens in (they got me a whole -1).

On the Sam Bradford note, it really sucks. Being an Nebraska fan I should be glad the Sooners lost their golden boy, but he is a model athlete. Football needs more players like Bradford. And about his draft chances, he'll still get drafted, but I'll bet he goes close to the end of the first round.

Bradford is actually a junior.

On the Cornhusker front. What the fuck? What happened last week? I thought after the Missouri game that this might finally be that break through season where we could get back to be a regular top ten team. Damn, that was brutal. Hopefully they can get back on track and finish well. All the rest of their games are winnable. Oh, and Suh is a fuckin beast.

Really? Maybe it it was because he won the Heisman last year. You don't see very many sophomores achieve that.

Texas Tech is a really good team. They have an amazing offense. NU's defense played well, but not great. But, the Huskers offense is horrible. The Mizzou win was won by one lucky pass from Zach Lee. After that it was all Husker defense (mainly Suh). There is talk of starting Cody Green (true freshman) at quarterback against Iowa State.

The same thing happened with Virgina Tech. NU didn't score a single touchdown in that game, yet VT still only won by one point. [/quote]

No, I can't. I've been a die-hard Eagles fan for about 17 years or so, and that one hurt. When I looked at the schedule after they started out 2-1 and saw Bucs, Raiders, and Redskins next up, I figured 5-1 was a sure thing. Then again, I guess I shouldn't really be surprised. They seem to lay one egg like this every year, last year it was that ridiculous tie to the Bengals, who really sucked at the time. Oh well, I still think they've got a good chance to be in it at the end.

Cincinnati is quite the brutal town to be a sports fan in huh? At least the Bearcats are in the national title hunt...for now.

I love Saturdays. College Gameday is like Christmas for me. I have trouble falling asleep the night before, and I wake up extremely early because of the anticipation. Oh, and Nebraska is playing at 11:30 WTF!!??

What's up with Niles Paul. Dude is a turnover machine. 9-7 at half. They better get things going.

We always have OSU to cheer for. I hope UC stays competitive; they're schedule always make them appear better than they are and then they just get stomped by a legitimate competitor.

I cannot believe that happened yesterday. I am still in denial.

Yeah, that was a joke. I don't know what's going on. I thought last week would have woken them up, but I guess not. Losing two straight conference home games is just depressing.

I don't care about College Football anymore because of the BCS. Teams with the easiest schedules play for the championship...that makes a lot of sense. Also, there's just too many damn games to follow. Imagine how insane it would be if they changed the format to something akin to March Madness.

I'm torn. I don't know if I'd prefer a playoff or not. I mean, college football is so unpredictable. I think that would make for a good post season. At the same time, watching the rankings is one of my favorite things to do during football season.
