That's good to hear Noodles! I have never tried drugs as well. I had an older brother who was an addict and after watching him deal with his downfalls and struggles that kept me from ever trying anything.

Hey, it's great until you have to be rushed to the emergency room for an erection that lasts for more than 4 hours

sucks for you bro

It's all in jest my friend  I'm just always blown away by the commercials on television over here for prescription medications. I mean, I have to watch commercials ranging from guys who piss too much to guys who can't get an erection. It's ridiculous.

Like the one where the silver-haired dude is sitting at a ball game, and we pan to his face screwed up in embarassed discomfort and he makes a bee-line for (presumably) the nearest john, leaving his vaguely regal wife (who probably would rather be home making cookies) behind shaking her head and sighing with that mildy irritated, yet sympathetic, "Christ, again?" look on her mug... next frame, old couple is birdwatching or some wholesome shit or other and she looks askance at the silver-haired gent and he beams, shakes his head and continues spotting the Crimson-collared Grosbeak off in yonder tree?

The worst are those "Snuggie" commercials.... it's a fucking blanket.

I'll tell you what I don't like - are the lab drugs such as meth, ecstasy, and the like.

I particularly hate when pot or coke has been laced with it, and is probably the main reason I don't really do that many drugs. It is really hard to know exactly what you are getting, and almost all coke these days seems to be mixed with something else. In fact, I'll bet most people don't even know what pure coke feels like (it's rather mild and quite nice).

Pure coke is the shit I always test the coke by turning some of it into freebase, sometimes you get almost nothing and you know you got screwed up, but when it's nearly pure you get a lot. Been doing MDMA lately. Need to stop this shit before I lose my mind. I tried almost every usual drugs like LSD, speed, mush, coke/freeb smoke weed from time to time too but I don't really like the buzz that much, I've got friends who smoke like 10 joints a day but I just smoke one and I'm fucked up for a while having problem speaking properly and shit. And I always drink while taking drugs if not I'm not in the mood. This shit is driving me crazy, stay off hard drugs (LSD is fucking awesome drug though), alcohol is great but it gets you really dependant, I can't even sleep anymore unless I've had a couple of drinks. You know, you can get real fucked up in your young days and go back to school later, that's what I did, and I begin school in two weeks gonna become a lawyer or something. I'm just gonna need to clean my act up a bit and this is fucking hard, been drinking lots since I was 15.

I will NEVER EVER do drugs, i have a father who is a drug addict and and a cousin who is fresh out of rehab for being addicted to heroin and methadone and God knows what else. I don't care what you say, drugs are not ok at all as far as i am concerned.

Sorry to be a party pooper to all those who enjoy using these drugs, but they will eventually destroy you, unless you quit. I have seen the devastating effect they have on people and it's a damn shame when you see the people that you love being reduced to a shell of their former self's. My dad is about to learn the consequences of driving while under the influence, he recently drove over a woman on Christmas eve and left her to die in a ditch, luckily she was found by a couple out taking a walk, thank God for that. Now he's facing some juicy jail time and will probably get a few years in prison. I hope they punish him hard so that he MAYBE will finally learn from his mistakes and go straight, but i have little hope of that happening.

Alright, sorry about the rant but i just had to get this off my chest and hopefully get others to reconsider if drugs really is all that cracked (pun intended) up to be. If anyone is reading this is and is using heroine, crack, crystal meth or any other hard drug, please seek help before it is to late, don't let the drugs destroy your life.

You're right, drugs are only good if you can control yourself and not become addicted.

I've checked the IPs, it's certainly not Zad.

My opinions on drugs are the same as alcohol and driving cars and everything: I generally don't trust other people with it. It gets really sad when these things mix as well.

That said, I didn't drink alcohol until I turned 18 and even then it was on rare, party, occasions. Somewhere after this I had my first real drunk-evening with puking and all that jazz included (but no memory loss). Twas good to experience actually, learn what it's like, and having a pal to take care of me was even better because I've had the opportunity to repay the favour to him and other friends as well.
Some friends have gone from not drinking at all, to a lot and vice versa, while I've probably stayed the same since 18 years of age. It works and I can't say I've done anything noteworthy intoxicated that I regret yet. There's a time and place for everything, same with alcohol.

Once you turn 20 you can buy your own alcohol in Sweden but contrary to what ""everyone"" does I didn't go to the shop right on my birthday. Took me months before I found a reason (some upcoming party probably) to buy anything. It's fun to drink in good company, but not so much otherwise. I cannot for the life of me understand why people drink alcohol (beer, wine) every day or almost everyday for no apparent reason. It might be tasty, but is it worth it? I would even go as far as to question why you would drink every weekend - but I could understand that somewhat.

So you can probably guess where I stand when it comes to drugs. Never done em, but I would not mind trying it, but only if there's any point to it, like hanging out with some pals an evening or so. I can't see myself doing drugs on my own and I would never risk to become addicted.

Wow, I never knew you people were all such squares.

I smoked weed all day, every day and have done since I was 15 (with short breaks of a few weeks, here and there. Barely any)

Moreover, I have tried every synthetic drug I can get my hands on, sometimes partying on them for 4 or 5 days awake.

Also, acid, mushrooms and hawaiian baby woodrose seeds are all very commonplace in my lifestyle.

You know what? I have a job, and I study at university. My girlfriend has never threatened to leave me, and my parents still love me.

It's really not that hard to micro-manage a drug habit. I've been doing it habitually for 8 years.

We sure will!

We'll see me graduating from University and then continuing my career without any harm done whatsoever.

I'm not saying drug addiction doesn't occur. But it happens to a certain sort of person, a certain sort of mind. I won't go into detail, because I honestly mean no offence to anyone who has had their life ruined by drugs.

But that's just a fact of life - it takes a certain type of mind to succumb to that. I did hard drugs all the way through year 11 and 12 in High School, and I ended up with a VCE score (our high school mark system) within the top 3 percentile in the State.

Since then, I've only broadened the range of drugs I use, and increased the frequency perhaps 5 or 6 fold. Still my Uni marks remain above average. And now it's been 8 years of drugs, why should my life start to crumble tomorrow?

It won't.
