This is thrash and its good. Your criticism of the vocalist is a little excessive but duly noted. I see no reason to label this as anything but thrash despite it being quite heavily influenced by death metal.

It's not so much that I don't like the vocals; it's just that they're extremely unfitting for this kind of music, at least to me. On a hardcore / metalcore album, I'd have no complaints.

I don't see the problem labeling this as technical death/thrash, in fact that's what the bands prior album was primarily. But regardless over what label is given by whomever the album is good and enjoyable, not my favorite but good. Anybody like the band when they were Crypic Warning? Sanity's Aberration is a great album and shows the bands thrashy roots. That album has some fantastic leads as well.
