It's about time some Khanate got reviewed here!

Anyways, I wholeheartedly agree with the review and the score given. Though not their toughest to get into (that honor is held by Things Viral), it's still not as good as their previous releases. The core reason being Every God Damn Thing, which I still can't listen to all the way through. And that's saying something, considering I have no problem with Bunkur's Nullify or Sleep's Dopesmoker.

Persons who dig Khanate should definitely check out Khlyst, as that's where James Plotkin and Tim Wyskida -- the bassist and drummer for Khanate respectively -- went after their main band dissolved. And it even has the singer from Thorr's Hammer on it.

Hell yeah, I reviewed their album awhile back. Good stuff, they need to get a new album out.

Thorr's Hammer is awesome as well. I don't think their album has been reviewed here, might have to get on that.

I need to listen to more Khanate. Things Viral is the only one I have, and it just doesn't do it for me.
