I was doing some poking around Youtube the other day, and found some stuff which may fall under the umbrella of "hardcore." Unfortunately, while I have a pretty decent handle of metal's sub-genres, punk's are doing a pretty good job eluding me. I saw "D-beat" and "crust" thrown around a bit, but whether those fall underneath "hardcore" I dunno.

Skitsystem are more grind/crustcore, but still pretty darn awesome. Anti Cimex and GBH are hardcore, and great hardcore they are. Not heard of Wolfpack.

It hasn't. Some people are just giving some weak examples.

Does anyone have any suggestions that aren't gimmes? I have 2 friends that are hardcore nuts and they've got me into about a dozen bands or so, but I'm always open to something new.

Oh yeah, Weekend Nacho's are pretty sweet, too. I saw them at a local house show the other day.

I just wanted to find more shit like Disfear and Struck By Lightning. None of these bands are like that.
