Woah. Pretty good list. Need to check some of those out. Surprising choices.

A nice list, but I'm disheartened to see Sigur Rós' weakest album on there instead of Ágætis byrjun, which deserves the spot more so. Still... at least he didn't include a Metallica album, right?

Kirk's too much of a pussy. Mike Portnoy would have done.

Arjen Lucassen would've done likewise. If memory serves me right, he once listed all of his projects as his favorites of the year, which is asinine.

Pretty awesome of him, too, considering.

If you look at Tom Morello and Lars Ulrich's lists which came out alongside this one you'll understand a little more why Kirk's list looks really good.

Alot of his picks were their opening acts which makes me think he is the only metal one left out of the 3.

Seing as Agaetis came out in 1999, you can't really blame him for not putting it on an albums of the DECADE list.

Interesting list, though you can see that he really isn't interested in metal anymore. Nearly all of the metal picks seem like obligatory "hyped act" choices.

Takk... is okay, but I swear if I hear "Hoppípolla" on one more god damn commercial, I'm gonna throw a fit.

Whenever a commericial comes on with Hoppípolla in the background, I always go quiet. It's such a fucking beautiful song. Just hearing a few seconds of that song gets me all misty-eyed.
