Oh shit, after listening to it twice I take back what I said in the previous post it's quickly beginning to grow on me, The first half of the album is amazing, and As If the World Wasn't Ending and the full version of Everything Fades.. are awesome. It gets a 75 now. Although IMO it still doesn't touch Ecliptica, and there could have been more guitar work, but otherwise it's definitely a grower.

Hmm, I see more and more us saying this. I guess we were all a little too hard on Fridge. This will be in my top albums for the year, just haven't decided how high. If it weren't for the few duds that it has, it would be an outstanding album. Some of the songs remind me of the newest Nightwish album, which I think is more consistent overall. I'll be very interested to see what their next one sounds like.

Not sure how comparable this is to Dark Passion Play though, which also had a little filler like For the Heart I Once Had, Whoever Brings the Night and Eva.

Re-reading my old reviews... This was fun, wasn't it. So, how has the album stood the test of time? How does it stand up to Stones Grow Her Name?

You could be right! This isn´t accessible as a whole though they´ve put a couple of catchy songs after the surprising opener. The second half is getting better and better with every listen. Thanks for this review.
