Calling this album tedious is fucking absurd. Anyways, probably the best death metal album of 2007.

Tedious? What the fuck...

Oh wait, it's reviewed by the guy who deemed Rigor Mortis' self-titled as a classic. Silly me.

I listened to this a bunch of times but it's pretty boring and forgettable. Only thing I remember is the track that stands out because of gore lyrics. Dudes need to learn to write songs.

Sorry to anyone that really loves this album, since I can respect your opinion and easily see where you're coming from, but a band has to do more than just blast-beat their way through a 35-minute record to really impress me... a great album, sure, but I personally didn't hear much of anything spectacular. Music, above all other forms of entertainment, is entirely subject to opinion, and I'm open to anyone's thoughts.

Goddammit I'm being too nice. Effing Christmas.

Decrepit Birth aren't gay enough for you, Noodles? I know they don't have a chipmunk for a singer, unlike say, The Mars Volta, but c'mon -- at least they're still going strong (unless Polarity sucks the shit). Mars Volta crapped out after their second album. Or after their debut, depending on whom you ask.

Also, don't talk shit about their song-writing capabilities when you're obviously a Behold... The Arctopus fan; that band doesn't even know the first thing about structure.

Only noobs think The Mars Volta's last three albums aren't good. BTA had good songs on their first two EPs but then pooped out on Skullgrid. Haven't listened to them in a long time anyways tho. Decrepit Birth have some cool riffs but they never repeat anything so they're playing meh generic tech death fiddlybonk that I forget the second it stops 90% of the time.
