I don't rate it quite as godly as you do Adam, but a damn good album nonetheless.

I guess I feel the need to reward originality to some extent. I've yet to find an album that sounds quite like this, so non-obvious suggestions are welcomed. I still listen to this fairly often also, so the staying power has a hand in the high score as well.

I'd give it a pretty high score just because it never gets old and it's so fucking weird and brutal but also has some parts that make me want to sing along as well. The soloing at the end of Kali always makes me sad because it's such a short album and they broke up after this album. Great review!

One of the best death metal albums ever, hands down. It's a real fucking shame people didn't realize the potential this unique band had. They could have been huge by now.

Agreed with noodles and Kathy. 94/100, an album that never gets old.

I agree with this. Probably a 90, for me. Good review though, it's about time this album got recognised here!

Never been able to get past the vocals. Must try harder.

Yeah, after quite a few spins .. this is emerging as the weak point and would leave me doubting they could ever have "made it big".

The actual music including the astounding guitar / drum synergy is top-notch however.

I'm not huge on death metal so I can't say I enjoy everything on this album, but damn there is some great fucking stuff on here. Just listen to the end of "Kali"...I mean, there's never been anything like that other than on this album. So great. I'd give it 8.5/10.
