So I stumbled upon this a little while ago...National Public Radio, America's, well, public radio station, has done a 48-minute-long segment on metal in 2009. I haven't actually listened to it myself, but I will definitely get around to it--NPR is generally awesome. Here is the link:

Yeah, it's long, but thoughts? I just think it's really cool that NPR (which I guess is kinda like America's BBC radio station?) has done a feature on metal and they know what they're talking about.
