That's a pretty accurate review.
With Deicide you pretty much always now what you'r in for.
Although they have much better albums, this one is definitely not bad. Gotta love those 3 first tracks! :dio:
I'd give it a 69.

This is one of the few albums where Benton doesn't sound like he has a penis in his mouth. Excellent album and a good review to surmise it all.
That and the melodies of the titletrack kick ass!

My favorite Deicide. Nothing tops Father Baker's.

For a while I found Deicide to be repetitive, but have started to like them again. Good album. Benton is one of the best DM vocalist around. My only problem with this album is that the second half is not as good as the first.

Oh man. I got mixed up between the tracks on Once Upon The Cross and this album. Long time since I listened to them. Guess I will give them both and more a listen. Today will be my Deicide day.
