Good review. 50 Million Year Trip is probably my favorite song on this record, but pretty much every one of them is a winner. I also like the humorous/goofy lyrics in most of its songs.

It's really a toss-up between WTSV and this as to which is the superior album - I love both, but BFTRS just edges ahead in the personal rating, for me. You should own them all, heh.

I prefer Welcome To Sky Valley, personally, because of its better production (it was, after all, Kyuss's first major label release). Plus, Demon Cleaner and Supa Scoopa are my two favorite Kyuss songs.

By the way, is the rumor about Josh Homme plugging his guitar into a bass amp for this and subsequent Kyuss records true? I know he doesn't do it with QOTSA.

As far as I'm aware it is, I certainly always thought that:
