Not heard this yet, but War Of Attrition wasn't that bad.

I thought WoA was pretty boring, personally. This one blows it out of the water.

Holy shit, this is awesome! I don't know how I do it but every time I listen to some of their songs I think their amazing and yet somehow I always seem to forget about them! I will bash my head against the wall for eternity if I don't pick this one up.

there are too many other quality death metal albums released last year then to spend money on Dying Fetus. This still might be worth checking out though

It's worth checking out. I always seem to come back to Dying Fetus even after listening to the plethora of amazing and technical death metal out there, especially when they're still putting out solid material like this album. I'd say it's a step up from WoA, and has a lot more of the old badass floor stomping moments of the old Dying Fetus.

+1, it was one of my favourite DM albums of last year, definitely a step up from WoA, which didn't have a lot of that awesome as fuck groove DF dish out on every album. I'd give it an 85-9 score.

And have you seen them play, the fucking bassist TAPS and SWEEPS!!

Also good review, but the part comparing DF and Michael Bay movies was lame.

Honestly, that's one of the first things that came to mind when listening to the album. I didn't force the comparison just to make myself seem clever or anything, I just kinda went with it. Heh.

I enjoyed this. They're always solid and interesting yet not one that I always listen to and I feel bad for 'em because I think that's everyone's opinion really.

Practically a year later after the fact I'd say this is easily one of their best.

Absolutely. Your comment inspired me to listen to it again actually, doing so as we speak. :dio:
EDIT: Fuck, Atrocious by Nature is probably my favorite track of theirs. So many awesome bits packed into one monumentally crushing song. :dio:

I apparently did not give this nearly enough of a listen.
