Not my favorite Savatage (Hall of The Mountain King takes that spot), but a damn good album.

I have three different CD versions of this release. The original one was a two for one deal that also had "The Dungeons Are Calling" on it. Then Metal Blade released another version with some bonus tracks as well as a Silver Edition that was remastered with different bonus tracks.

This album is a must-have for any metal fan. But The Dungeons Are Calling must be reviewed too, and I really prefer it to this excellent record. City beneath the surface is one of my all time favourite songs.

No way on a classic. Gutter Ballet is their classic album.

I agree that this one is not a classic, but I think Hall of the mountain king and Gutter ballet are both classics.

Gutter Ballet is a great album and was a transitional album between "Hall of the Mountain King" and "Streets", where the music started to become more ballad/theatrical rock oriented. Sirens has the best Savatage guitar sound ever. Oliva's guitar sound started to get somewhat buried in the mixes and sounded watered down on albums like "Fight For The Rock", "Power of the Night" and even "Hall of the Mountain King".

In Allmusic's review for this album, they said Savatage "were one of the leading death metal acts in America"

Savatage was never lead any scene. Gods knows why, because they were awesome.

And this is def not Death Metal

Misinformation blows... that's the problem sometimes with the info we met in the Cloud.

I recently read a review on allmusic of Anathema's A Natural Disaster which said that they previously were a power metal act. If you do a little digging on that site you'll find lots of stupid mistakes such as those.

Notice how there is no source/reference for this. Why don't you edit that article?
