I think they have achieved quite a lot musically, having inspired and influenced quite a lot of people. However there are a lot of people that have since suppassed them in that style: TDEP or the awesome SIKTH being but two.

They're alright, something for the kids to mosh to or something to check out when I'm in a hardcore sort of mood.

If you want an album, spring for Jane Doe, a 2002 or 2003, I forget which exactly, release.

I've been playing Jane Doe a lot recently and I must say it's an amazing album. Phoenix In Flight + Phoenix In Flames + Thaw really get me going.

I really enjoy the new record 'You Fail Me', even though it is much less brutal than 'Jane Doe'. Overall, not a bad band imo

Not really my thing, but a pretty good band. You Fail Me could be heavier, but it's not bad. I've only heard a couple tracks from Jane Doe, but I think it's better than You Fail Me based on them.

Jane Doe = Best Metalcore ever. There live video's are so fuckin crazy. I watched there DVD at my friends house. They were playing in this underground place, no stage, just playing on the floor, just pretty much as underground as it gets. The whole place was fuckin nuts, just the craziest live footage ive ever seen, ever. They rushed forward and pushed the drumset back, and all the band members got squished and Jacob Bannon was on top of the crowd just fuckin shouting his head off. Most of the time you couldnt really hear his vocals, because the place was so loud. Converge are soooo amazing

They're talented musically and intense as fuck but if I lsiten to more than 1 song my brain just loses focus and gets bored since there are no dynamics to their music.

I seem to like Petitioning The Empty Sky, but Jane Doe was pretty hard as well. I agree with noodles as well, but for me there are times when I need to listen to intense metalcore.

I would think all the oposite; at least in Jane Doe.

BTW, has someone heard Supermachiner? It's a drone/ambient/noise project involving J. Bannon of Converge. Some interesting moments so all you weird music loving people should check it out. Not amazing, just interesting.

I don't own any of their albums, but I've seen them in concert about four times now... they have some of the sickest pits I've seen. People start to mosh before they even start playing... it's impressive to see the devotion of their fans.

I've listened to Jane Doe today and fucking WOW, I loved it. I usually don't like this kind of "NOODLES" bands but I loved this shit. The energy and the brutality of it is amazing.

I saw Converge live. Awesome energy levels but sadly I still found the music a bit of a snoozefest. I don't have Jane Doe thoe.

No I think that Zad is still at large unfortunately. He's like the roadrunner.
