Kings of Beer has already been reviewed. A sloppy one I'd admit.

Seems if I would of read down 2 posts I would of noticed that Sir Fag Tomtom already called it.

Oh and Chemical Invasion should be a classic, IMO. It's got everything Zombie Attack has but is a little more mature. A little.

I agree. If I wrote a review of Chemical Invasion I'd probably spend 2/3rds of it talking about how awesome For A Thousand Beers is.

since when did tankard become so beloved? I feel like an outsider, having never taken a gander at 'em.

Unless you are in the mood for simple alcohol fuelled fun/punk/speed/thrash then they wont do much for you. But I sure as hell love 'em.

Dunno. I'm certainly not a big thrasher in the slightest, but even I love this album. Think it's because they are what thrash is supposed to be, i.e. fun.

I'm going to check out Chemical Invasion after I check this out. We'll see how this goes.

I like Tankard because whenever I listen to them it's like fuck yes this is what I want from a thrash album.

first off, that's just wrong. But that is why I said beer OR sex, I'm guessing that you do enjoy sex.

Oh, I do like that. I am quite the virtuoso and connoisseur but Tankard doesn't do anything for me. It's like all boring thrash metal and stuff. Like yeah sometimes the riffs are cool but it doesn't stand out to me.

see not liking thrash is one thing, but calling Tankard boring, well, that's just wrong.

Especially to me. Especially in a Tankard review thread.

I like Metallica, Megadeth, Dark Angel, Sepultura, Rumpelstiltskin Grinder, Sodom and Skeletonwitch for your information. Tankard just seems like a limp Dark Angel.

Tankard is the drunk ugly step-brother of Dark Angel. Always wearing dirty clothes, greasy hair, maybe a little high, and just doesn't give a fuck about anything and never will. Tankard rules.

Plus, the vocalist performs pirouettes on stage. Best gig atmosphere ever.
