This is pretty good. It's awesome to have Christian still in a solid sounding melodic death metal band, but these guys are a bit more by the numbers than SS was. So, currently SS lacks the amazing vocals of Christian, and Solution .45 lacks the amazing musicianship behind SS.

It's a shame.

Ah well, Christian rocks the shit out of this album. Great vocalist.

I think the score of 85 is spot on. I just got through listening to this and will be doing a piece on it on my own blogsite but I couldn't help but think that this is just an extension of SS. There really isn't much differance in this cd from what SS has done with or without him.

The only thing I can think of is that Alvestam has probably 4 or 5 other projects he's involved in and couldn't devote time to only SS. I also think that due to his other commitments that his vocals actually suffer on this release both with the harsh and clean vocals. His range is more limited here and the grunts are more incoherent like they're being forced.

It's a solid cd like Scar Symmetry's last one is but I think if they had continued working together something would have come out better then their respective releases apart.
