0 points for naming Mortician in a review for Triptykon hehe.
Good review, it's been one of my favorite albums this year so far. That guitar tone is the heaviest I have ever heard, and all and all it's one of the best comebacks in a long time.

I've heard 1 song of this on the radio and I really liked it. Must check out the rest of the album.

Hah. Yeah, I've always thought Mortician had an awesome sound without the tunes to go with it. Like I said, some of the tunes here are like what they should do with that sound.

Man... I never really paid attention to CF in general (I just don't seem to "get" albums like To Mega Therion...) and I didn't even actually expect anything much of Triptykon but the track listing got me curious (self-admitted occult buff) and I ended up loving it; it's one of my favorites of 2010. Incredibly dark and awesome.

I really need to check out Monotheist now... I had ignored it when it had come out... :lame:

It's still sound like Celtic Frost but so what, it's good to see Tom Gabriel exploring again in a new band... the cover by artist Giger is very cool.

Congratulations for Tom G.

+1, I've been buying the Frost discography lately, so I can't wait to check this out.

Man oh man this is intense. I only listened to the first track last night and was blown away. I'll have to listen to the rest later today. :dio:

It's amazing how wildly the general opinion of Monotheist has shifted since it first came out.

Have you looked at the Monotheist review thread? It's kind of funny.

I don't give a fuck, I always loved Monotheist. This is like how everyone's shitting on Keep of Kalessin's Kolossus when the review got a really high score and most people in general here enjoyed it. It's an MR phenomenon :D

Yeah, man. Actually I loved Monotheist from the first time I heard it, but I didn't hear it til long after it came out. That thread is funny, the way people start slating it then gradually start to realise that actually, it's awesome.

Everyone were initially disappointed because it was nothing like To Mega Therion and such. After some listens it grew on everyone, and became hailed as one of the best albums of the decade.
