I'm expecting big things now that Jorn is back on board, but that cover art is fugly.

I assume it's a reference to Jorn's return as frontman? Either way, it's good to be the king.

This came out last year, actually, but only on vinyl. Hopefully I shall get a copy of the CD release. It's old school death metal, but what caught my eye was the fact that it's got 2 members of Demilich in.

Cavalera Conspiracy are back in the studio this month according to their official site.

No title, no release date.

Frankly, this excites me more than new Soulfly.

I'm probably the only person on this site who cares, but:

http://www.annihilatormetal.com/index.php?page=218

hopes are not high, but I am sure there will be something on it I like. Even Metal had 3 songs I could enjoy.

Hey now,

I'm back in town, and I always care about teh thrashes.

It's difficult to give up on a guy like Jeff, and who knows, maybe he's inspired by the recent headbanging awesomness of his fellow Canadians (you know who I'm talking about).

Which reminds me: have you heard that song off Exodus' new album, I think it's called hammer and life (or something)?

It's fucking awesome, despite Dukes, who I dislike more with each album.

I've heard 2 new songs from Exodus and one was kinda blah. The other was pretty fast and sounded cool, but the production was so shitty that it was hard to tell for sure.

Yeah, I know what you mean.

Hammer and Life is the good one.

There's an unfinished demo version on their myspace, which doesn't sound great but is *much* better than the version going around on youtube.

Dunno if your computer is still averse to myspace....

Looks like they stuck with their old formula. Too bad that formula sucks.

Oh come off of it you all, you all know Limp Bizkit is the Bolt thrower of late nineties American metal. Don't be jealous!

Bolt thrower = consistent.
late nineties American metal = shitty.

That may be the most true thing you've ever said Steve.

Bolt Thrower should never be used in the same sentence as Wimp Bisquick.
