Saw Nachmystium this monday. Was pretty good, damn short though. Only lasted about 30 minutes or so.

Yeah, see my last post in this thread. Did you get the same two opening bands (Wodensthrone and Psyke Project or something)

Did you kissed D.D. Verni for me?

I shook his hand and told him that he looks good with that sweet vest.

anyway..

sick sick show

Vader is intense as hell! Started with This is the War! which is an awesomely fast song.

but man, Overkill stole the show. Those old fucks can still rock out and hard. I got a pick, set-list, and a drum stick. I also got to meet the band. Got pictures with Bobby and DD. I've also got a shit load of pictures on my phone that as soon as I get them on my photobucket I'll post the best ones.

Overkills set-list:
The Green and Black
Rotten to the Core
Wrecking Crew
Battle
Hello from the Gutter
Feel the Fire
Ironbound
Hammerhead
Bare Bones
Gasoline Dream
Coma
Bring Me the Night
Old School
Necroshine
Elimination
Fuck You/Motorheads Overkill/Fuck You

I only remember Overkills set-list because I got a copy of it.

I also do not think Vader or God Dethroned suck, on the contrary I think both bands kick large amounts of ass. I just can't remember which songs they played. Nihilism was a GD song and Frozen Paths was one of the Vader songs, as well as Rise of the Undead and Sothis.

they probably did play some songs from Litany. You must remember that I was pretty high coming into the night and was drinking pretty steady throughout the night, so it's hard for me to recall everything.

I spoke to you on MSN immediately after Vader left the stage, and you said they played a song from Litany, if that helps.

have fun. Cattle decapitation are an intense live band, and Gaza are pretty sick too.

Vital remains, Pestilence, and Suckbringer.

I haven't ever seen Gaza live but I'm sure it has to be intense live and Travis Ryan is always a show in and of himself so I'll enjoy myself hopefully.

Saw Alice In Chains last Saturday, they kicked large amounts of ass. They played the song Rotten Apple which I heard hasn't been played live since like '93. Amazing show, definitely one of the best I've seen.

Yeah, see my last post in this thread. Did you get the same two opening bands (Wodensthrone and Psyke Project or something)

Bah, judging by studio releases, Wodensthrone is 5 times better than Nachtmystium.

Hm, not getting the fuss over Loss I wouldn't say that at all. But regardless, they weren't exactly born entertainers on stage. Mind you I guess that's the nature of the beast with a lot of BM.
