More bullshit. How many times have you defended your reviews, saying a week is plenty of time to accurately review something? Now it takes years? Please.

Just admit it, dude. You reviewed that album for the sole purpose of trashing it.

Who cares? That's what the forum is for. Tell everybody you disagree with the review, criticize, giver your opinion. Then, after said discussion, move on with your life.

Erm, what? A week is plenty of time to review something, but my sole purpose in life is not to review Korn, so I let it slip. When I came around to doing it, I listened again, tried to like it, and didn't. What is so hard to understand?

If that were the truth, that every review is entirely objective and unbiased, then this site would be the most unique review site out there. A one-of-a-kind. Horseshit, of course.

Some of you seem to think Zad the Forum Member from way back is somehow different from Zad the Reviewer. Now, I won't say he's a bad reviewer, because he's not, but his agenda was crystal fucking clear with that Korn review. Anyone suggesting otherwise is just being a stubborn fool.

A review is based on what the reviewer thinks of that album. Zad doesn't like the Korn album, and wrote a review reflecting this fact. I don't see what the problem is here. Is it that he didn't declare it an influential masterpiece of an album? If that's not how he sees it, I have no problem with it.

And tbh, I remember liking that album a few years ago a lot more than I do now. The damn thing ages like cheese in a sauna.

The problem is, according to Ken, that the only reason Metalheads everywhere prefer the likes of Opeth and Dark Tranquillity to Korn and Limp Bizkit is that Metalreviews.com is engaged in a SECRET CONSPIRACY to pretend that underground metal is better than nu-metal. There are AGENDAS at work, and he wants to see a goddamn BIRTH CERTIFICATE, by Christ.

Even if we accept what Ken says (which by the way is still bollocks, actually, because I can still clearly remember Goat agonising about that review) this is a metal reviews site. It's not a big back slapping session. Sometimes, shock horror, a reviewer doesn't like something that other people do, and they express that opinion in a review. I mean fuck, it's far more interesting than reading yet another wannabe music historian going on about how "this album's a classic and if you don't think so you're WRONG! Quit desecrating the hallowed past which must never be questioned or even discussed in a manner that deviates from what older people think!".

Who's making shit up now? You can do what you want to do, but what you can't do it is try to lie and say you didn't review that Korn album for the sole purpose of trashing it. You can fucking hate that album like no other, I don't give a shit, but you're trying to convince people that you really didn't know how the review would turn out before writing it.
