That's a pretty horrible line-up, imo. The only remotely interesting bands are Slayer, Megadeth, Anvil and Testament. Alice Cooper I'd see just because it's Alice Cooper. I wouldn't spend my money on it since I'm in no desperate need to see any of those bands (seeing Testament once was enough), but rather save up and go to a European fest or something like Maryland Deathfest. Plus a festivals with those sorts of line-ups tend to attract morons like flies to shit. Avenged Sevenfold, Shadows Fall, Korn, Alexisonfire? Good lawd

Why must most North American metal fests be like this?
you don't like Kataklysm?
Not particularly. They started off half decent, but haven't come up with anything all that great since Sorcery. Saw them live once already like seven years ago and they weren't much more impressive than on cd by that point, so I wouldn't spend my money on them again. Especially since they haven't exactly gotten better since then, and not with a line-up like this one.
@Devoted, yeah there are some pretty cool metal shops and such on St. Catherine's. There was this one metal shop I used to go to when I was down there more often...can't remember for the life of me what the name was, but they had a lot of cool band shirts. Btw, apparently there is some weird new medieval restaurant (not medieval times) with mead? Have you ever been there/heard of it? That's all I know is that they serve mead lol, but from my friend's description it sounds really cool.
