The Hung Parliament Party? Pretty weak, agreed. I like our one with all the bits of paper flying about.

The Greens have quite a pretty one. I keep expecting Morph and Chas to turn up in it.

A (the?) Labour battle bus went by me today. I tried giving a sarcastic wave but they were all on their mobiles. Probably trying to heal this story about Brown being recorded calling someone 'bigoted' - poor old Pa Broon shouldn't have met with the voters after all. At least he didn't swear at her.

There's a great Marina Hyde piece about it on the Graun.

I do feel sorry for silly old Pa Broon. Prescott needs to punch someone to get everyone voting Labour again.

Edit:

Dawkins, Brian Eno, Henry Porter, John Le Carre, Philip Pullman, George Monbiot and others come out for the Lib Dems! Nice, expected Monbiot especially to stick with the Greens.

God I wonder if people are starting to see through Clegg's "precede every answer with a remark about political point scoring" act yet.

Perhaps if Pa Broon performed better, you'd have no worries! :P Sadly, that was the dullest of the three debates, no gaffes whatsoever. Cameron slid further to the right, Gordo offering experience and Cleggo offering change. Let the spinning begin.

So how significant were Gordon Brown's comments in the Newspaper, some comments an old lady made about Eastern Europeans.

Heh, sounds like Clegg did just as badly judging by Radio 4 this morning.

Switched it off pretty quickly... it was one of the most depressing TV programmes I've ever seen.

@steve: Brown called a spade a spade, which isn't something we generally tolerate here. Unfortunately he did it ten seconds AFTER sucking up to her and thinking his mic was switched off, which exposed him somewhat as a cowardly hypocrite.

Haha: now the Labour line is that when she said "where are all these Eastern European flocking from" he THOUGHT she said "where are all these Eastern Europeans fucking from".

Pfft, the US has the lamest political scandals on the planet... I can remember all the coverage Obama calling some religious gun owners "bitter" generated.

By instructing us, over the years, to heed fears, not hopes, such voices have allowed Labour to abandon everything it once stood for, and hand us, trussed and oven-ready, to big business and the Daily Mail. We'll be trapped like this for ever, in New Labour's Bermuda triangulation, unless we vote for what we believe in rather than just against what we don't.

Hm, if I vote FOR something I believe in it's certainly not going to be the sodding Lib Dems, George.

Quote:
Whatever the outcome of the election, the real fight begins after 6 May, as we build a mass democracy movement that ensures that we can never be colonised by a parasitic political class – of any colour – again. It starts with a rally in Parliament Square at 2pm on Saturday. During and after this election, we must demand something better, rather than fleeing from something worse.

Despite having no clue what he's babbling about with this rally on saturday (Goat?) he's obviously right about this. Just so long as we're all clear that any action against cuts and redundancies will necessarily have to be action against government even if (especially if) it's Nick Clegg in charge...

He's saying vote for a hung parliament. Didn't you follow the Hang 'Em link?

Yeah, the link there's off. According to his website, it's something to do with www.power2010.org.uk

And there's direct action planned against cuts? Yikes.
