I don't know about this one... I got it from the hype I was hearing but I'm having a hard time... it just doesn't do very much for me.

I was excited from the musicians on this... I'm a big Moonsorrow fan and I also really liked Kotamäki's work on the latest Alghazanth and it's nice to hear him pull out more of those deep growls. But ultimately, Curse of the Red River just leaves me cold. I liked the stuff like Our Twilight or Cold Earth Chamber that sounds like it could be Amorphis but the rest of the album doesn't move me much so overall, I'm not very excited by this one...

on the contrary, this is an excellent and moving album. I would give a 90
to it :dio:

I can't believe only two people commented on this excellent album.
There are not that many decent meloprogdeath acts around and Barren Earth certainly is one.
And the new album is coming out soon... yay! :dio:

I had no idea that they were coming up with a new album. This is fantastic. I'm definitely buying the new album.
