I think the Bruins can make it this year. Rask has been awesome and the style of game the B's play just sucks the life out of most teams. If they get Montreal, they win it for sure. If they get Pitts, it'll be a great series. The entire Boston line-up will be out for Matt Cookes blood.

Hey there. If Montreal makes it, I think they have a fairly good chance. I mean, the Bruins did take down Buffalo, but after Boucher stopped streaking Philly isn't exactly a hot team, especially without Carter and Gagne. And if Montreal can beat Washington and Pittsburgh, I don't know how you can say that the Bruins beat the Habs for sure. And hopefully Philly will manage to beat on them for a few more games...

Good game last night, even though we lost. I liked the offensive pressure, and Fleury played a great game. Go Habs go!

Too bad about Detroit. But if Montreal loses, then I sure as hell am not supporting either Boston or the Pens, so if the Sharks break their choakingness and actually make it, I'd cheer for them. Still, between Chicago and the Sharks I'd prefer the Hawks. And hopefully Vancouver can stage a comeback...

Boston would beat Montreal because of Rask and the defensive style the Bruins play. Washington is all flash with weak D and weak in goal. Pittsburgh is better defensively and has more depth, so if the Habs make it past them then kudos. But Fleury has not been very good, and what the hell happened to Crosby? Boston doesn't have an Ovechkin, or a Crosby, or a Malkin, but they don't need one. They play a good team game and they are on a roll, full of confidence. I'm not trying to start something, just playing devils advocate here.

I kinda hope Montreal loses because I keep watching their games because they're a Canadian team and GO CANADA but it's so boring.

if you really wanna be all GO CANADA, then you'd want Chicago to win. Most canadians on one team left in the playoffs.

I didn't expect the Red Wings to go all the way this year. They've been really rusty. Is age catching up with them?

Hard to say. They were probably the most injured team all year--man was Franzen a beast in the playoffs. I think with a healthy supporting cast (plus Hudler back from Europe, and I swear Filppula breaks out finally) we''ll Zetterberg and Datysuk score like they usually do. However, Lidstrom and Rafalski aren't getting any younger, and I am not sold on Jimmy Howard. I see a Steve Mason-like sophomore season for him.

The Bruins need to take care of business tomorrow, but yes I do like their style. Losing Krejci for the playoffs is huge for them though, as he was centering the line with Satan and Lucic, and that line had been their best so far.

Good to see Vancouver kept the series alive today, but I saw Salo go down like a house of cards...good player but always injured. Winning the last 2 games down one of their top 4 dmen isn't going to be easy.

Game 7's are the best!

As if Boston failed again to finish off the Flyers.

Now I'm a sad panda.... Canucks got eliminated. The team is way too dependant on Luongo, who is one of the more inconsistent goaler in the league. And then there is the fan booing him even when doing a pretty good save. Man the fans can suck by times.
(sorry for the amazingly bad english)

They're saying "Luuu" which just sounds a lot like boo. They've been doing it all year. They might've been actually booing him towards the end but I hope not. Kinda lame that 75% of the people left before the game was even over rather than applauding their team's year :\

Luongo has been inconsistent and let some bad goals in but if you look at the Canucks line-up they have hardly any defensive defensemen with Mitchell being out, and with Kesler/Burrows/Johnson being hurt or not playing very well through most of the series, not many defensive forwards. Chicago's top line had a great shift in the Canucks end every time they were on the ice in the second period so you can't completely blame it on the goalie.

Yes, there defense has only gone downhill since jovanoski left wich is kinda sad since it was one the best of the league. I remeber the old times when the first line was composed of Bertuzzi, Morrisson, Naslund, Olhund and jovanoski. Ah the good ole times...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH.

Sadly you could not be more right...
But still that first line was really entertaining to watch play.

There is a curse on this team, believe me. :lame:

Epic Penguins fail going on right now.

It pains me to say this, but... Go Habs Go! Also, Lets Go Bruins!

What an epic eastern conference final that would be.

The Stanley Cup champions will be coming from the West this year.

Also don't look now but Philly is about 7 minutes away from forcing a Game 7.

nothing wrong with that. More Canadians on either Chicago or San Jose then both Montreal and Philly/Boston combined.
