Rajon Rondo, a 6'1" point guard, had 18 rebounds today in the Celts win over Cleveland. The (mostly) old green men are making a series of it!

I love it.

Suns sweep! Looks like Lakers vs Suns in the conference finals.

As a Suns fan I couldn't be happier, but, frankly, I'm scared of the Lakers. They are so big and athletic. I think they will match up against us much better than the Blazers or Spurs. I'm just hoping we make a series of it.

Ugh, will anyone beat the Lakers? Signs point to 'no'. Especially with the Cs and the Cavs continuing to beat on each other over in the east.

I was shocked by the result of that game. Celtics only one win away from the conference finals...and a probable clobbering by the Magic.

I love it. I'd prefer the Celtics go to the championship. I'd like to see a Boston LA rematch.

Hmm, I thought it was pretty shitty basketball to be honest. The Cavs offense was awful. Looked like a bunch of guys running around without a clue. The Magic will take care of the Celtics in 6. Looks like a rematch of last year's finals is highly likely. I think the Magic will put up a much better fight this time around though.

I would agree with your predictions.

Watching Cleveland give up and not bother fouling like that at the end of the game was embarrassing.

I posted that at half time. Yeah the second half was embarrassing. And yes the Magic are the best team in the league right now.

So, the Eastern Conference finals start on Sunday and the Western Conference finals start on Monday. How does that make any sense? The NBA playoffs are ridiculous sometimes.

They try to delay the finals until after May Sweeps month for tv ratings.

Ok. But the Suns finished their series on Sunday and the Lakers on Monday. Why does the East start first?

SUNS

Robbyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Lopez is almost 100% coming back and we're rolling. Not saying that the Lakers aren't gonna take a few or that we're even gonna beat them, but I would not be surprised if an upset is an order.

<3 basketball

On a side note, wtf Cavs? Boston should have no business beating that team. But I'm happy about it, because I want Lebron to leave Cleveland. I like Lebron but I hate everyone else on that team. I want to see him playing with a better supporting cast.

Yeah. First 6 minutes were great. As much as it pains me to say this, the Suns will be lucky to win one. The Lakers just have too much size. If it was just a matter of Kobe being Kobe, the Suns would have a chance. But the matchups across the board just aren't very favorable.

I must say, the Suns have outperformed my expectations this year. Unfortunately, I don't think they have a shot at the title any time in the near future. Wouldn't be surprised to see Stoudamire land somewhere else this summer.
