This is a great album.

For me, it suffers slightly because this is by no means my favourite line-up of the band (I'm highly partial to the larks' tongue line-up), nor is it my favourite output from the early incarnations of the band. It says a lot that this album comes from what you could call their most tumultuous and fractured period and it's still so good. There's just a certain quality you associate with anything that carries the King Crimson name.

Good review. I'd give this one a 75 - 80, personally, but that's only as compared to the Crimson ouvre. In comparison to other prog or music in general, 90 is a perfect score.

Oh, absolutely. And LTIA was actually the first KC I ever heard, looking forwards to that when it rolls around.
