I picked up Ravnenes Saga a few weeks back after reading Kayla's review, and ended up listening to it for about four hours on a plane ride. That album also had quite a few melodies that carried over from one song to another, to the point where I was thinking that I already started to loop back on the album. They're one of the bands where half of the songs done better would have made a much better album, but it was still worth the purchase. I'll have to let it set in for a few more weeks, but I'll probably be picking this up just for some laughs with friends that either somewhat like or completely hate folk inspirations in music.
