not a fan of Patrick Goodwin but Jesse Quatro's voice and the keyboards on these albums are FUCKING    . "Train" is probably the most disappoint Hammers of Misfortune album closer ever, since they usually finish off with really intense and epic songs. "Butchertown" is fucking amazing. overall i'm not sure what to think of this; there's some really great songs, but some stuff about it disappoints me. need to listen moar.

also i really need to get around to listening to Yes someday

This literally just came in the mail today. Yes protege is right. These guys are the modern day Yes. So amazing. I haven't heard their back catalogue, but I need to check it out after hearing this one.

I never thought they would be able to match The Locust Years but this album is damn fine. Really enjoying it. Love them riffs and solos.

This doesn't interest me like their other albums. I don't want to blame it on the lack of Scalzi but it might be. I guess I have to try harder.

I cant seem to decide whether The Locust Years is better or not as they are both amazing albums!

I just ordered this along with the new Cobalt from Profound Lore, so it had better be good.

Does anyone plan on reviewing their debut album, The Bastard?

If it was only for Butchertown (such an outstanding track) this album would be essential but the rest is almost as good. HoM slays on each and every of three previous albums and this one is no exception! :dio:
95/100.

Both their singers are gone and this dude and the chick from Saros are now in the band. I am EXCITED because I like him more than the Fields/Church of Broken Glass singer already

Mmmm Saros. I had no way of building an opinion on that guy from that single track. Should be good no matter who it is because Fields guy sucked.
