I'm somewhat suprised to see this reviewed, nice job. I have the album but have only listened to the first three songs, but it was good so far. I agree the production threw me off, I think that's why I put it on the back-burner for now. Out of curiosity are you planning on reviewing Lie in Ruins and Obliteration? Those are great albums as well imho.

Thanks, bro. I hesitated too, but I came to really like it. It's one I'll continue to listen to for a while. There's kind of a resurgence going on in old school death metal, as I'm sure you know, but I think this record is a reminder that nothing ever faded to the point it needed to be revived, unlike thrash, which is a different story for a different day. As for the back catalog, the list of new promos is long, so I don't know, but I'll keep those two in mind for a dry spell. Peace.
