Thanks noodles, that is the best Trivium I have heard, and washes a lot of the "Pull Strings Heart Martyr" bad taste I had for the band.

I could never take them seriously after what they had done with "The Crusade". It would be foolish to write them off as a "Metallica clone", yet when one listens to the material it at least seems superficially true. I'll have to check out Shogun and see if they got any better, as Crusade was a complete waste of time

Never really listened to Crusade, but I think Shogun is a rather decent album.

No, I like my music melodic for the most part. It's just bad. The singing is just awful, the lyrics are embarrassing, and there is nothing else that would make me want to listen to it.

That one sounds very power metal-ish.

Still kinda bad, though...I like metalcore more than most people, but I don't bother with BFMV.
