Their sound evolves, but it's subtle. If you're not listening for it, or don't know the band's previous material enough, you won't hear it.

And yeah, that fucking song is totally ruined by that "hardcore" turd. No idea what they were thinking with that one.

I'm quite happy, yes. And not a hardcore turd.

However, I haven't really listened to this album that much, 4.17 am is better.

I think 4:17 A.M. is their weakest. Namely because the tone of everything is softer. There's little crunch to the guitars, you know. But I dig all their albums.
