Yeah I'm not sure if Canadian satellite is the same as ours in the US but this is the garbage that spews from that station each day. Horrendous music...

Thanks. I feel like I can get a bit comical with similes and metaphors and whatnot when I'm reviewing crap. I'm so glad you guys agree with me after my trial by fire in the form of my Beherit review 2 weeks on the job.

I've never listened to them (never heard of them until today) so I can't say if I agree or disagree with you but the review itself was good. :P

So being assigned to review this was like a MR hazing ritual?

And yeah, liquid metal is abominable. You generally have better luck finding some late-night weekly college radio show.

We should have initiation rituals, but it's enough of a hurdle to join the team in the first place.

The only thing good about Liquid Metal is Bloody Roots w/ Ian Christe.
I listen to Boneyard more because they don't play crapass mallcore and shit like Tony Danza Tap Dance Extravaganza.

Nah. No one hazed me or forced me to listen to this. I just felt indebted since before then my lowest score was a 77. I had to review a bad one before everyone cries foul and says I only do positives. I also agree, Bloody Roots with Ian Christe is a great segment.

I don't think Liquid Metal is totally terrible, sure 80% of what they play is crap metalcore but when they play the classics they seem to get them right.

and I agree on the Bloody Roots comments. Mr. Christe, besides making good cookies, knows his shit.

I read on their Wikipedia article that really old people show up at their shows sometimes because they actually think it's going to be Tony Danza tap dancing. I got a kick out of that.

I can see myself liking this but then every time I turn this band on I turn it off after a few minutes. Pretty lame but I tried to like it. Haven't heard this album yet. Maybe will one day.

shitty overtechnical act like the Binary code, they are talented musicians who can change time signatures one million times ad nauseam, yet cant write a riff to save their lives.
