I have the Classic albums DVD for Frank Zappa's Apostrophe And Over-Nite Sensation, i love its insight on the recording of those albums and watching Ruth Underwood play the marimba after so many years its fucking awesome, my only complaint is that i wish it was longer, from the review looks like this one is a winner too and it also should be very cheap, i'll keep my eyes opened next time i go to the record store.

There are really no words to describe just what a masterpiece this is.

The rhythm section of Butler/Ward are significantly underrated by some, not here though, they are amazing.

The ensemble playing on the first two albums is something special, I can't really think of any other albums that have such tremendous life & energy breathed in.

Pure magic!

I wonder if they contradicted the known fact that the first two albums were recorded in like a day each and that there was virtually no thought put into the recording of them.

Go down and pay the local studio 90 bucks to record a record. That is basically what was going on here.
