As always, very well written review Alex. I'll try to find this band, but I hope they're not anything like COB, which I don't like too much.

Don't worry, nothing like COB. Not at all. Think early Dark Tranquillity, but not as evolved songwriting, but a lot less melodic death, even more Maiden influences. Cool melodies in Asguard too.

Thanks. I'll try to find them then. I didn't think there were extreme metal bands in Belarus, I wonder how that goes with Lukasenko and his regime. It must be hard to release death metal albums there. Anyway, I'm glad that scene begins to move, just like Ukraine did, and maybe Russia (I don't know much about them). Slavic people seem to have talent for metal, and with the amount of population in these countries, more and more good bands are likely to surface.

Someone familiar with political situation in Belarus?? Impressive. .. I asked myself the same question, trust me. The songs on the album are a little older thna 2005, but still "Lukashenko"time. Maybe the guys have moved out, mayb as long as you do nto rebel at the regime you are OK..., don;t know

I'm pretty sure lyrics have nothing to do with the regime, but that doesn't matter, you know how it is... I imagine even having long hair is bad enough in the eyes of the authorities. Like you said, maybe they moved out or maybe one (or more) of them is the son of someone important. Which would explain the money, because in poor countries (and I imagine Belarus is poor after all the comunism and now this dictatorship) it's very expensive to make music.
I know a bit about their situation because I'm from an ex-communist country myself. So, unfortunately, I know more about communism and dictatorships than I'd like to.
I just ordered something else, and since my music budget is extremely limited, that'll be it for a while, but I'll keep these guys in mind for the next buy.
