Sounds as if they tried to beat Dimmu Borgir with an equally stupid album name. Dimmu still wins though.

In hindisght that's actually quite restrained and balanced. What I meant to say was "this is the future, get back to your dungeon, Skartasis!" :P

Nice job Rio. You present your side of the coin on this divide in a way I can't complain about.

I'll always rather call all this new stuff coming out 'Green Metal'; but, I'm betting Skartasis will reside in his dungeon, I will retire to my castle (I get a castle :dio:), and the definition of the genre will permanently change in the minds of most.

"Green metal" is a good term, actually. Maybe I'll use it in the future when I cover this sort of thing.

I don't know if it's black metal, green metal or yellow metal but I know it's a damn good review as it made me want to check the band's music even though I'm not usually into BM at all.

Thanks for posting that...I never would've looked at your review otherwise  but this new USBM actually the only kind of black metal I like...that's abundantly clear after trying to make myself listen to Deathspell Omega yesterday.

Great stuff, anyways, "I Make My Home" has got to be one of my favorite BM songs.

Tony Choy is out of Atheist, and the new Cradle Of Filth will be called "Darkly Darkly Venus Aversa". I shit you not, it's a concept album about Lilith, wife of Adam and Satan and all-around good time girl.

I dunno where we're supposed to ask for reviews but you guys should review Sorgeldom's CD Inner Receivings. Solid black metal with shoegaze and atmospheric moments.

I love black metal and even I can barely stomach Deathspell. I've tried several times and it still doesn't click.

I guess you weren't informed, but I am the only one allowed with an abbreviated name with a W in it.

I thought I sent out a memo.

Usually they don't do risque album covers like that but hey who cares it's Kamelot and it's a new album.

I got your memo, but like Rob Halford I am breakin' the law, breakin' the law.
