i hope your heat dont make the finals. i hate 'super teams' and conspiring to load a tean with talent. i hope kobe wins. i believe his goal right now is to prove beyond any doubt that he is best player ever to play basketball in the NBA.

The Lakers are a super team, and they did it through even more ridiculous means than the Heat (trading nothing for Pau Gasol). It annoys me so much that people still think Kobe Bryant is the best player in the NBA.

I don't really want the Heat to win, but I'll be rooting for them over the Celtics and the Lakers. I'd like to see the Magic win next year.

THey got a steal from the Grizzlies, yes. In no way did they do what the Heat did.

I guess being hated is a good thing. If people hate your team it means you're relevant and our team is going to slay next year.

Nothing? You're wrong, Marc is going to be one of the most dominating centers in the NBA.

The season is coming up fast! I cannot wait for a threepeat from the Lakers. Even if they don't, this season is packed full of exciting changes, new rules around tech fouls, trades, Lebron James thinking people are mad at him because he is black... the list goes on and on. This is going to be one hellova season.

I lost a lot of respect of Lebron when I heard that. I mean, seriously, you are making millions upon millions of dollars for being good at a game, and you are gonna pull the race card because everybody isn't a fan. Pure bullshit, if you ask me.

I guarantee if you ask all the non-Lebron fans why they dislike him, none of them will say 'because he is black.'

I also hate how all the black journalists are backing him up while all the white ones are like 'am I missing something?'

Lebron is a hell of a player but what an arrogant prick he is.
I wish the MVP title goes to Kevin Durant.

Good article on the LBJ race issue.

The new technical foul rules are dumb as fuck...dumb dumb dumb. Are players not supposed to show any emotion on the court? I mean, I understand not wanting the ridiculous dancing shit that goes on in the NFL (god, that pisses me off) but players can't be asked to control instinctive reactions. It can only lead to unfair treatment, when refs don't want to eject a star player, etc.

Yeah, pretty poor showing from the heat. Hopefully, the Suns will start off well.

Yeah he did. Clutch three with 30 sec left. He is one of my all time favorite players.

If I had to pick a list of ten, mine would be (in order):

Glen Rice
Mugsy Bogues
Reggie Miller
Kobe Bryant
Michael Jordan
Ray Allen
Glen Robinson
Mitch Ritchmond
Alonzo Mourning
Hakeem Olajuwon

Robert Horry is one of the biggest bitches ever to play the game. I cannot believe that anyone actually likes that fucker.

My faves...

1. Steve Nash

(and in no other particular order)

Kevin Johnson
Josh Smith
Chris Paul
Grant Hill
Dirk Nowitzki
Shawn Marion
Amare Stoudemire
Leandro Barbosa
Dwight Howard

Mostly recent, cause I'm young. Blake Griffin, Stephen Curry, and Durant are some of my favorite up-and-comers in the league...honestly, Blake Griffin is an amazing player to watch. Shame that he missed all of last year.
