I think this album deserves the classic status. It was one of the most unique things at the time and really paved the way for many of the hardcore bands that followed.

I wonder if people wouldn't treat this album differently if Scott Ian wasn't Jewish.

Didn't know Scott Ian was jewish. I hadn't given this a proper listen and always assumed the title was tongue in cheek but if it's not than maybe I'll just pass over it.

Driving through Miami blaring this is as weak as the Whitechapel youtube baiting except it doesn't even phase the people who it's supposed to offend. Maybe I'm looking into it too much.

His real name is Scott Ian Rosenfeld. After listening to Anthrax and S.O.D. for years I just found that out while looking up the numbers for this review. His nickname is Jewcifer.

He left the 'Rosenfeld' off because he was ashamed.

Maybe it's just me, but I could have sworn this was a mostly ironically-intended swipe at the bigotry of mainstream America? As well as controversy for the sake of controversy, obviously. But songs like the title track and "Fuck the Middle East"...surely they couldn't have been written with serious intent, from a couple of the same socially-conscious guys who wrote songs like "Indians" and "One World"? Just thought it was worth a mention...also lol @ Jewcifer

Yeah, that's what I thought also. Scott Ian particularly seems like a pretty liberal dude.

Me too but then again I'm not the site who posted a review which made this seem like a pretty not-so-tongue-in-cheek album.

Ironic or not, the title is one of the best I've ever heard

I advocate maybe tongue-in-cheek statements that will offend massive segments of the population. A reminder about the hypersensitive world we live in needing to take a collective chill pill, maybe listen to reggae...

It was all tongue in cheek but I'm pretty sure Billy Milano actually feels that way in his songs. Although he's probably joking around with the lyrics.

Yeah. That's a classic, at least in terms of influence.

Definite classic in terms of influence, quality and time passed.

Charlie Benante did the solo on "United Forces" not Scott Ian. Why do you think Billy shouted Charlie right before it?
