Texas has nixed the move to the Pac-10, and of course, everyone but Nebraska and Colorado was going to follow big fat Tejas's lead. Yippe! Now we can see Texas go to seventeen straight more title games after beating up on its inferior conference and scheduling non-conference creampuffs and then get whipped by the SEC over and over again.

Agreed. The story I read makes Texas sound like heroes b/c they 'saved' the Big 12. Fuck off, Texas is the Big 12. Now they will make more money and have their own TV deal.
I'm happy about this for a two reasons: Turner Gill will have a chance to coach in his old conference and Kansas bball is salvaged. Otherwise, I hate Texas and the amount of power they hold over so many schools.

who do you have in the super bowl? Like I said before, I'm a Lions fan now with big Suh on D. But realistically, I'd like to see a repeat. Go Saints. Also, I'm excited to see Mike Shanahan turn the Redskins into a competitive team again.
who are the front runners in the college game? I have to say the Huskers are the Cinderella story. Yes I'm a fan boy, but Bo says they'll be better than last year, and Bo has built this team from their worst performance in NE history.
who are the best players in college football? Locker. Have to agree with Mel Kiper. Also Jarred Crick on D. Mark Ingram will still be fun to watch…
any thoughts on dez bryant? I'm glad he stood up to Williams. I hate the hazing crap. It's not funny anymore. Play football, that is what you're paid for.

the lions WILL be competitive this year ( yes you heard it here first ) they are going to win the division within five years.
i unfortunatley dont believe in my poor patriots this year. the d is just not good enough and when they were a dynasty the d carried them. offence doesnt win championships.

i dont know much about the college game but ive heard the huskers are good but bama, texas and florida all have great programs. also leading into the other college topic. is ingram bama's half back? if he is I like him and i like them
i think dez should carry pads but not roy's. roy hasnt earned anything except myabe some lessons on how to catch the football and is dez's main rival for a starting position. make him carry romo's or austin's or witten's pads.
i hope lane kiffin get booted out of football. enough said
i hate bret. i want him to go away and just leave. he doesnt have another super bowl in him. he isnt a good playoff quarterback and i hope his legacy includes that. in the regular season i want him throwing the football but in the post season i dont want him near the football especially in the big moments. I want Brady, ofcourse im a pats fan.

The past few years we've done it have been pretty fun. Half the group takes it serious, while the other half doesn't change their starting lineup after the first game. I just love FFootball.

I'll be honest, I'm much better at fantasy baseball/hockey/basketball but yeah, who cares? It is fun! Maybe if we start taunting others...
