To get a taste of the band's zany-prog roots, The Light is a damn fine choice. For their more-refined take on stellar musicianship combined with more straightforward rocking and unforgivingly infectious melodies, take Day For Night or V. For a fully-fledged storyline and compact tunes of awesome, Snow's your pick. And for the best taste of the band's current post-Neal Morse era, go for this album or the self-titled one.
