So, three tracks into the new Enslaved, and it's an eyebrow-raiser. Will post thoughts later when have had a chance to hear the whole thing, but I can see people being disappointed with this.

Well, I might have been a teensy bit harsh before, but the first couple of songs do seem rather samey and... well, plain ol' meh on a first listen. Needs more time.

Apart from a couple of cool Jazzy bits, the new Cephalic Carnage is pretty disappointing.

Yeah. It's nothing really too great. They've sort of lost that whole eccentric sound they had going on past albums. Unfortunate.
