No thoughts on the possibility of the end vocals being Vortex's? It would make all this even funnier if it were true.

I actually researched this, for the lulz, and apparently if you pitchshift the female vocalist, you get pure Vortex:

I want to know where Snowy Shaw fits in to everything, however. Is that him in the music video, at the back? Why isn't he singing, being, y'know, a vocalist.

I read Vortexz is busy with Arcturus, so only time will tell if he'll purge the faggotry of Dimmu from his mind. Only doing so by recording new Arcturus material!

Just heard that for the first time. Wow. The video made me think of a campy Immortal. It's awesome how everybody is on the same page.

But Immortal are cheekily self-aware of their ridiculousness, it makes for a great live show! that video on the other hand was the worst thing I've ever seen.

Yeah, I still think they were trying to be 'Behemoth cool' and failing rather than showing any kind of Immortal self-awareness.

Best video I've seen in a long time though

That's my point: Dimmu Borgir either fail to recognise or deny how ridiculous they are, making them boring as shit.

That's the beauty of the video though, they look so comfortable in those white costumes that they just run with it.

That's what spending your time away from society naked in the woods making ambient black metal will do to you.

I have a strange desire to learn how to make GIFs after watching the music video for the first time. Particularly of Shagrath at 2:54 - 2:55.

My favorite image was when Shagrath was singing, and since his voice obviously isn't akimbo with his mouth movements, he looks horribly off. Though he's stiff as a corpse holding his palms out trying to look "Grim", with all of those pounds of baby powder staining the band.

Don't forget all the milk.
Was this video sponsored by the dairy industry, or something?
Hell even the fake "blood" looked like chocolate milk.

I don't know I'm drunk and that just popped in my head because I've read that somewhere before.

Apparently if you slow down the song the female voice sounds a lot like ICS Vortex:

OMG CONSPIRACY?!

The thing that struck me about that part is how little it sounded like the girl's other vocals in the song. I wouldn't put it past them to do something like that, but I'm not totally sure it's Vortex either.

It's pretty funny either way.

You do realize Dimmu does it for the show too, right? I doubt they take themselves as seriously as you think they do.

Didn't see any evidence of that in the video... They looked very serious about ripping off Behemoth.
