Good review. I agree with your score, more or less, and gave it a 75.

I was surprised by your score. Seems like everyone is going ape shit over this album everywhere, and then it gets a score in the 70's. Seems like maybe its been overhyped at some places - as by the hype I was sure this would get a 100 score.

I haven't heard it yet!

If Alex gives something in the seventies its a good cd. Also if he gives it a Surprise of the Month its GOTTA be good. The only thing about this review I dont like is that its making the wait until tomorrow before I pick it up even more unbearable.

I liked this quite a bit. Some people said it was as good as Pagan's Mind but that isn't quite true. There are some awesome moments though and there is a definitely a bright future for the band. I'd give the CD a score of low 80's, so I more or less agree with Alex. Recommended to prog fans.

I gave it an 84. Very well done but somewhat hampered by their influences. As a big Dream Theater and Symphony X fan there are "familiar" moments that irk me. Hopefully those will disappear on future releases. In any case it is a solid album with a great singer, heavy riffs, and plenty of melody.

I doubt is as good as the new Pagan's Mind, which leads me to the next question, when are we gonna see a review on this site for the new Pagan's Mind, im looking forward to reading it.

Let me throw my change to the bucket: This CD is awesome! I just picked it up yesterday and it's my favorite of the lot! Goddamn it's good. I was sure there was going to be some well-known musician in this band, this being a side-project or new band. I am shocked to learn that isn't the case. :shock:

This is a great prog-power metal album. I'm not going to compare them to Pagan's Mind because they're really not the same, but this album is better than Celestial Entrance!
