How "light" is it? I am a fan more of the first two albums particularly of songs like "Night Danger" and "Back to Back." ANything like that on here? Don't get me wrong, songs like "Loud and Proud", "Rodeo" etc. are great as well, but the former are much better in my opinion. How heavy is this album I guess is the right question for me.

It's heavier than most albums, yet still melodic... vocal melodies and grand chorus are what drives the songs. I still think it's much heavier than the last few albums. I love songs like Back to Back and Rodeo, I would say more in the vein of Rodeo than Back To Back (rhythm and heavy riff based). I suppose Cielo Drive will be a song you will like most at first listen.

I've just listened to a few songs but so far it all sounds like Nickelback. Thoroughly disappointed.

You ought to have your ears checked.

Or maybe you haven't heard Nickelbacks heavier material. Final day of Innocence and Little Drops of Heaven sounds just like traditional Nickelback-songs. May even be more of 'em.

Can you give some audio samples of this "Nickleback" that sounds like Pretty Maids?

Something along the lines of these:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9U6kpj-k8BE
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qBONFn6tXI4
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=37zAeB_x2EM&ob=av2n

Mostly the choruses. Nickelback's verses are too randomly produced.

Is it just me, or is the first song "Pandemonium" AMAZING, and the rest of the album has very little of the same energy?

I guess I should just listen to "Future World" for songs like the title track? Hadn't heard of this band before.
