Also agreed, even when taking into consideration that there are around sixteen total riffs throughout the album. Eight songs, approx. two riffs per song... when you look at it that way, it's a miracle how entrancing that album is.

In fact entire album (In Time Before the Light) is chock full of hypnotic riffs.
A shame they went and destroyed this hidden gem.

That riff is pretty hypnotic, imo.

lol. Pus theres like one drum pattern throughout most of it.

The only song with different drumming is Skald Av Satans Sol

Many guitar lines in Cult of Luna's work and Neurosis, truly have an enchanting and otherworldly feel. I think thats the intention of a lot of post-metal and funeral doom
