I bought the album a couple of weeks ago and after spinning it maybe twice, I wish it was a bit more powerful as the songs run aground after about "Leadspitter". It's not the Ten Commandments but it will definitely please fans of the band, if you havent heard Divine Empire you should check them out too Khel

Nah man, they're older work is similar to Immolation's thrashy "Dawn of Possession", but overall they're solid death/thrash metal, you probably will like their older albums

I've been meaning to give these guys a listen for a while now, just too lazy to follow through.

where should I start?

Ten Commandments and Retribution are both really good albums, their later albums are ok as well.

Speaking of Immolation I'm surprised there is no review of Dawn of Possession. Hmm

Totally agree. Slaughter of Innocence from Retribution is one of the best Death Metal songs ever written.

I've actually heard some good stuff from Divine Empire, but unfortunately they're another band that I haven't heard enough. Looks like I have some death metal to catch up on.
