For anybody who hasn't heard anything by them, I second the suggestion of Traveller to start with. It's sure-fire.

New Anaal Nathrakh in 2011, apparently. I'm really hopeful, but I think they'll burn out at this rate of release.

+1. Fukpig was kinda disappointing too. I haven't heard a full-length so I'll reserve full judgment.

Need a new Vision Divine album. The following bands are due for an album:

Akercocke
Alcatrazz
Burning Point
Children of Bodom
Destruction
Dignity
Dream Theater

....

I'm looking forward to this, despite the horrendous cover.

What a shit cover. I wonder how that was imagined or explained. Like a goat cow chick kinda looking like she's getting crucified.

Shit band too. I saw them live some time ago, my best friend's band opened for them. His girlfriend was playing the fool and asking one of the Belphegor guys what he would describe the music as, and his answer was "black/death metal inspired by classical music".

Inspired by classical music? More like fucking boring.

Ah, also: Herfst, my friend's band, their best-known song is called Scarlet Necromance. You're welcome, Belfagor.

tbh, Necromance isn't that hard of a wordplay to come up with.

I think it's retarded considering the word is necromancy. Someone conjured by a Necromancer would be a Necrotic. Necromancy can not be converted to a verb, why so many people try to verb-alize words is a mystery.

There's a joke hidden in there. :P

I don't think Belphegor's members have the intelligence to come up even with the most basic forms of wordplay. It strikes me as more than coincidence.

I liked Terry Pratchett's "neck romancer" joke in Colour of Magic.

Umm it's a portmanteau of necromancy and romance. It's a noun not a verb.

Wow. What a doofus I am. I totally didn't get it. I didn't look at it as a neo-contraction. I'm stupid sometimes.
