I dunno about great. I mean it's fairly generic but it's done well. I enjoyed it.

I guess it's ok for the average bm record, but I can't get over the fact they've rehashed every riff off of Transilvanian Hunger. Suffice to say this warrants some sort of admission of a blanket criticism, but Satanic black devotion is one of the most easily deciphered examples of plagiarism I've heard in BM.

Plagiarism ist krieg.

Darkthrone only use two riffs per song, so they are pretty easy to copy.

I'll give them this album to a long discography of sucking, there is some good atmosphere on this album. I take back what I said about them being a bunch of hacks, yet another great Finnish band along with Behexen and Musta Surma.

Glad you decided to give it another shot. This album really is one of the better modern-bm releases within recent memory.

Yeah I agree with you on that one.... I have been listening to this on youtube for awhile now and I need to buy it finally so it can travel with me, instead of only getting listened to on my g/f's computer haha

I really enjoy taking shots while listening to the song Let the Devil In..... O and the rest of the album is real good as well...
