But yeah, I looked up this band on youtube and it completely reaffirmed my appraisal of power metal. Complete and utter faggotry.

Well, I love power metal, but this simply is not good at all. Completely agree with the review and score (expect for the "Ecliptica Scale" bit. A "Somewhere Out in Space" scale would be more useful for me...). It's hard to read such a long paragraph though.

Well I haven't heard this one but I do like older Symphorce so I'll have to check it out and see if it's as bad as the review said it is.

So what you are saying is that you heard one bad power metal album and now think the entire niche is shit?

I'm pretty sure he disliked power metal before hearing Symphorce, hence his usage of the word "Reaffirmed".

Shame. Power metal isn't a bad niche there are a bunch of bands worth listening too oh well.

Ok I listened to this last night and I have to say I agree with the score this is their worst album and no where near their earlier work. What were they thinking in making this stink fest? Come on Symphorce what's the deal you can do a lot better then this?

I don't understand why they decided to go this route either. Stuff from the likes of Become Death sounds massive and this is just so flat and dull in comparison.

Yeah, because that's what it's about. Take some fucking pride in what you put out there. You're supposed to be supporting music, not ranting like a whiny 10-year-old girl, offering nothing of any use to readers. Your review is terrible, even if it were accurate. Any reviewer that focuses solely on the negative, especially in a childish, moronic manner, is no reviewer at all.

That aside, how do you support something that you find terrible? Seems like a non-starter there. I found very few positives in the album, so it seems pretty obvious that the review'd weigh heavily on the negatives. It is a terrible review, I don't dispute that fact, but it is a terrible album, hence the tone I took as I honestly found it a joke. But don't worry, I'll be sure that any more reviews I come up with will be completely devoid of any sort of personal input and sound like they've been typed up by a drone because no one like being punched in the face, especially over the internet.

Although Ken makes some good points once in a while, the part of his brain which governs tact appears to have been lobotomized. Selective reading helps a lot.

Sadly, you don't get it. Never will.

This band sucks and so does this album, no shame firing some shots against them imo.
