I'm nervous about this one. Love this band, but Fortress is gonna be a bitch to follow up.

Holy shit, I am excited...they could regress, but they also have a ton of potential. Fortress may or may not be better than Kezia, but I really liked the decisions they made in terms of where to take their sound. Hopefully they'll make more good decisions here!

p.s. badass coverart

I really have never heard the argument that Fortress wasn't a step up above Kezia but I'm sure somebody out there thinks so.

Oh, and new Krallice - "Diotima"

There's a track up for streaming here:

I can't fucking wait.

Edit : hrmm the vocals are a bit odd though. The production in general is going to take some getting used to.

HOLY SHIT NEW PTH! :dio: I'm sure it will slay. They are too young to go bad so early in their career.

imo Rody's clean vocals stepped up in a big way but everything else got a tiny bit worse (ie more harsh vocals, more sterile production, songwriting doesn't flow as well, less catchy, no acoustic parts, no girl singing, album as a whole doesn't flow as well). Love both albums a lot though.

Can't wait for the new one, is gonna be awesome.

Someone should review Inquisition's Ominous Doctrines of the Perpetual Mystical Macrocosm. Frog croaks and crushing riffs everywhere. :dio:

It looks like one of those " I'm 35 but trying to look 25 with this mowhawk that attempts to hide the fact that I have a widwos peak " hawks.

Preview for the new Dir en grey single.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-tHE2N6z ... r_embedded

If/when we update the message board, perhaps we could have that thing where we could embed youtube videos in our posts? A lot of other forums have that feature, and it's pretty cool.

The odds of Morifade's new album coming out... 1 in 75 at best.

It would be awesome to get another album, but seriously, everyone left the band that made it special.
